Default Antifrz testers

Gentlemen, I`ve been out for a bit ! Did I remember reading a post somewhere that the older antifreeze testers would not acuratly test the newer sierra type anti frz.? I`ve watered one of the T`s back this summer due to a drippy freeze plug. I know, I promise to fix it this winter boys!!!! Monte
