CCPU Door Lock Question
Anyone know what thread size and pitch to use on the single retaining screw that holds the lock cylinder to the door? Screw is located on the side of the door jamb. 10/32? 10/24? and length of screw. Thank you THIS IS A 1928-29 CCPU

Re: CCPU Door Lock Question
Hi Shane,
You may know that the 29-29 CC Pickup didn't come with a door lock from the factory, just a rubber plug. But it's easy to install a lock, and it works well. The thread size on mine is 10-32. I believe I got the screw from a 29 fordor door I had. The lock was shot, so I bought a lock from one of the vendors, it worked out good. The length of the thread on this one is 5/16". -DAN |
