Default Polishing distributor cam

What else besides crocus cloth have you used successfully for polishing old distributor cams?

When I upgraded to a RePop Model B cam I found it was not as smooth as my 80 year old well-worn original. It would eat points blocks. I polished mine on a cloth wheel with a lot of polishing compound. It still not perfect, but it is a lot better.

Soft cloth wheel and white stainless steel compound block. If it has small scratches an any lobe, buy a new one.
