I don't want to sound like an ole grump, but in my opinion a dog, cat or any other animal does not belong in a car, it's bad enough with all the other nuts on the road just trying to get from point A to point B with out having an wreck.

Dogs and cat's not only shed hair but they also make you car smell bad, dogs esp. sometimes slobber, they cant help it, and you don't need your dog licking you in the face when your trying to drive, [it's a safety thing].

I don't dislike dogs or cats, but there is a place for them, on a farm, or in a large back yard, but not in a car.

ever notice a dog in a car with the window down with it head hanging out of the window trying to get some fresh air ? ...tells me the animal does not want to be there.

OK all you animal lovers, fire away,....It's JMHO.

Well you asked for it, Louis, Dog here! GEEZ! that's a BIG bucket of cold water you're throwin' on the fun stuff! Glad I'm not your dog Yes, I agree about dangerous stuff with dogs in cars, It's about DUMB folks that don't train us dogs to sit up & act right in cars! We can be trained to go GRRRR! when dummies try to open your hood & scratch your paint & discover your motor "SECRETS"!
I ain't REALLY mad at you though, Louis Buster T.

Most animals have a very good sense of smell, to take one for a ride, esp. in an
"A" model has got to be very un pleasant to a dog, even though I'm sure the intension is meant to be a fun trip to the animal.

My model "A" is in very good shape, but it is 80 years old I can smell oil fumes, exh. fumes, gas fumes that come up thru. the floor boards and firewall, and all Model "A" have it. not good for a dog, I would think .

zzlegend, If your asking me,... NO!.. my wife prefers pwr. steering, pwr. brakes, air cond, elect. windows, elect. seats, elect. locks, and a GPS, and she thinks I'm stupid for driving around in a 80 year old car that could explode at any minute do to the fumes in the cockpit.......Can you believe that? ................

Then why does my dog jump in every time I open the door? If it was that aweful I would think he would rather stay home.

Bob has my vote, if you don't let the Dog go now and then you miss half the fun. I like my Dog better than a lot of people I come in contact with !
