Our Friend, Shadetree - Medical Issues
All: Old timers on the 'Barn will remember Bud Reynolds, who posts as "Shadetree" ....... He has a medical issue (not the COVID-19) and is unable to communicate via the 'Barn. I spoke today with his wonderful wife, Linda, and she indicated that his mind is sharp, and he would love to hear from his fellow car nuts! All that to say that if you wish to make a comment to Shadetree via the 'Barn, Linda will read them to him. If you wish to send a note via me, my email is truckstang(01)@gmail.com - just drop the parentheses around the 01.
And for those who really remember, I sold "Clyde" (1929 CCPU) to Shadetree circa 2006 and bought him back circa 2008 - he still resides in my garage!

Re: Our Friend, Shadetree - Medical Issues
Hello Bud, AKA "Shadetree", while I'm not an "old timer" here at Ford Barn, I am the recipient of a lot of knowledge, the benefactor of experience and many lessons learned because of members like you. My car which has been in my family for over 70 years is in so much better condition and operated/ cared for correctly due in no small part to members contributions like yours.
I have seen some of your posts (and there are a lot of them) and can only say THANK YOU for sharing your love for these cars and your knowledge. Thank you Linda for letting Bud know Shadetree is appreciated here at Ford Barn and please extend my thanks for his service to our great nation: SALUTE SIR from a fellow aviator: USAF Aim High |

Re: Our Friend, Shadetree - Medical Issues
Do not remember seeing your posts, but am a newer member. Sorry to hear of your troubles. Am wishing you well, hope you have the attitude of "never surrender" during this difficult time.
Hope you recover at least enough to enjoy the Barn again, and are able to go for rides in an A. Always good for the soul. Also wish your family the best. |
