I spend a lot of time on the HAMB, Now I will spend the rest of it on the BARN. I'll have to work in getting out to the shop sometime........

The HAMB is what it is and the FORDBARN is what IT is. They just have the same basic format.

Thanks a lot Ryan for all the hard work.

Not yet but Ryan is working on it. He said give him a couple of weeks to get all the info over.

Lots of us lurked from time to time but because of the previous format it was too time consuming, plus the old format gave me a headache.

Come now Denise, you with a headache?.I've been on the HAMB & here about the same length of time & never got a headache here, but a couple on the HAMB tho.I'll bet you never really tried very hard over here, as seeing you in a Ford?,naw, just that big old olds convert is where you look the best huh?.I found it easy to get around here, as well as the HAMB, but then again, that's just me.Have fun here, as maybe you can find an old Ford to put around in?,LOL.

I have been a member of both forums for awhile. I can say that I enjoy both but I do like the new format better.

i think there will be a lot of HAMBers finding their way over here too, now that it's so much easier to use. There will undoubtedly be a wealth of information from the original FB fellas. i am really looking forward to learning lots more, and i hope that most FB guys and gals make the jump.

I used to get frustrated with the old format, but this new version is great. Being used to the HAMB format helped.

I found the old format tiresome and some what weird, the info is priceless but to wade through the format was horrible.I think that the ford barn wont fill with garbage due to its stramlined topic,Fords.Us ford guys are sensible and really respectful, polite is the word.I am just happy i can discuss great fords with some great people.

What I really like here is that you can go to a specific forum and find nothing but questions and info on that topic only.....

My interest is in Early V8's and I am happy that there is nothing else being talked about here.....

I wish that the HAMB was divided into special areas of interest within the overall context of *traditional rods and Kustoms*........there's too much off topic crap discussed there.........my $0.02

CB
What he said, and let's hope Fordbarn will stay Ford specific in spite of the new influx of non Ford owners I see here, already...

There are advantages and disadvantages to everything... personally I did like the old swap pages, they were easy to list various parts, and easy to search by scrolling and using "find on page" key strokes. That ad format which has been used by typical classified, like hemmings or newspapers is hard to beat!

Irony for me, I was posting on fordbarn and found the HAMB through it. As I recall there were some heated topics about the hot rodders on the hamb, so I googled it haha. Now here we are, one step closer to Atomic industries taking over the web hahaha!

Ryan will make sure of it, just like he keeps the HAMB hot rod and custom specific and the Jockey Journal motorcycle specific.
