1932 Doodlebug
This 32 Doodlebug was found in Wisc. Has alot of desirable parts, but I don't think it is for sale.

The grille is worth more than the whole bug. Walt

Re: 1932 Doodlebug
I thought it sold on Ebay recently, for a reasonable price.

Would love to have it just the way it sits.

Cute little bugger! Grille, shroud, firewall, frame, fender braces, cowl,etc..
Keep V-8ing and 4-banging!

Re: 1932 Doodlebug
I worked at a Ford dealer who's owner was into Model A's. He bought a Doodle Bug that had a tractor rear axle and V8. Someone had cut the back half from an early open car and mated it with the firewall of the Model A. 2 People could sit on the bench seat. Didn't have the side panels on the hood. Pretty cool looking, but obviously wasn't road able due to DMV regs. They did use it in local parades.

Re: 1932 Doodlebug
My roadster started life as a groundsmans tractor made commercially from ford parts, much in the same way as these doodlebugs. Good pickings depending on what was used.

Re: 1932 Doodlebug
I like how they somehow attached another fan in front of the 32 fan

Re: 1932 Doodlebug
i was just given a '32 BB doodlebug. while looking things over to get ready to see if it is going to run i noticed it has a mallory distributor. i pulled the cap and i was surprised to see it is a dual point. is it just me or is that kind of odd to put that setup in a 4 banger ?

Re: 1932 Doodlebug
I saw one go on craigslist with a police head and other desirable parts....then again, all of our cars are worth more as parts than they are as a unit.

Re: 1932 Doodlebug
I remember my uncle building a model A bug for use in my grandfathers garden, no sheet metal just a radiator and a bench seat, it had two transmissions inline, when they were both in fist gear it went really slow.
