Re: Flathead fun
I see you got all eights pistons out. I still have three stuck in the block I'm tearing apart. It has been wet and windy outside and that's where I work on it. It's covered with a tarp for now. It's not supposed to be raining this time of the year. My rods are number on the ends of the caps. Does that mean it's been rebuilt before, or do they come numbered from the factory ? Tim

Re: Flathead fun
If the bores were not honed and used rings were installed I'll bet this engine was a smoker. You are going to hone the bores and install new rings on reassembly I hope?
