Default Gone to Germany!-they race them there!

I restored this hardtop 32 yrs ago, even found the last real race crew [69-72], couldn't sell it locally, so now it's on a ship. Spare tires chained on the car. The whole load is going to Europe, trucker hauls one load a week to the Oakland, CA docks. Newc

At least this car that most people would not consider restoring has a second life in racing. This is where the majority of these early Ford Coupes in the Fifties and Sixties ended up, at the Speedway.

Yup, and here they are....mostly '32s, with a couple of '33-'34s thrown-in! DD

They won't do much racing without full floating hubs!

Maybe you couldn't sell it here because you advertised it as a '32 when it isn't?

I didn't see any of the original ads, but sure don't see anything in this thread that states it is a 32. It is easy to see that it is a 33 and don't think most people interested in a older dirt track car would be too hung up on the body year.

I think the op said he restored it 32 years ago not he restored a 32, years ago. But I could be wrong.

You say you "restored" it but that is using the word restored a bit out of context I would think. I would hate to see it before it was restored. Now you can have a go at me if you like. Regards, Kevin.

Looks restored to me, if you have ever been up close to original round De round cars.
