Default Crack block repair question

I’ve heard that cracks between exhaust valve and cylinders can be repaired. Will these repairs last or should I look for a good block.
Thanks

As long as the cracks are accessible for repair (pinning), followed by sleeving the cylinder you should be fine. Unreachable cracks from exhaust runners to water jackets are usually not responsive to waterglass repairs.
