Russell Knaack and myself are working on an article called "The Evolution of the 1928-1931 Model A Ford 2-Window Fordor Sedans". We are in need of some production data off of these body's that you may have if in fact you have one yourself or know of one of the following body styles: 60-A (1928): Original Body Tag number (190-XXXX) and Gas tank date; 60-B (1929): Original Body Tag number (190-XXXX) and Gas tank date; 60-C (1929): Original Body Tag number (195-XXXX) and Gas tank date; 170-A (1929): Original Body Tag number (197-XXXX) and Gas tank date (Still looking for a good stright-on side shot of this body style...would you happen to have one for the article?); 170-B (1929-1930): Original Body Tag number (163-XXXX); 170-B Deluxe (1930-1931): Original Body Tag number (167-XXXX); 160-C (1931): Original Body Tag number (139-XXXX for Briggs bodies and 160-C-XXXX for Murray bodies). Motor numbers would be nice but only if it is known to be original to the body style at time of build to the body...however not important to this article. Please send all information to: Russell Knaack: [email protected] or Steve Plucker: [email protected] Thank you so much. Steve Plucker Last edited by Steve Plucker; 03-10-2020 at 09:13 AM. |
