Default Has anyone else seen this collection?

Looks like a dream come true. Except for the part about selling it all!

It would be nice to see someone that really loves the hobby wind up with this stuff but my guess is it will go to the guy with deepest pockets who will buy it for the sole purpose of making a buck & doesn't really care about the hobby-- iv'e seen it happen so many times before--- sad -----but it's a free country----dave

I would have loved to get hold of the 35 5 window coupe. Alot of very nice cars, be interesting to see what they sold for.

I'd be happy with any one of those cars - I think the hardest part about having that many would be trying to decide which one to restore next....

But if I had to pick one for right now it would be the 38 Deluxe Tudor.... or the 40 Convertible... or the Model A Cabriolet.... or....

I don't know if I pasted the link in correctly, but there are (79) pages of items sold and the prices they sold for at this auction, at this link. Be careful, you could spend hours clicking and enlarging each lot to see what was sold. Motorcycles and cars I've never heard of, some going for hundreds of thousands of dollars each !

The Hartung Collection has been well discussed. Many times.

Interesting collection to say the least.
