Default 4bbl intake for 8BA

Guys, is there such a thing with the aftermarket aluminum 4 barrel intakes as one WITHOUT an offset generator and fan mount? Either a vintage part or a new part? Looks like most of them have the mount shifted over to the left hand side. Not sure why somebody though this was a good idea, but seems like offsetting this dorks you over if running a fan shroud.

Thanks in advance!

Yes, there are intakes without the offset available from various sources but seeing that I already had the Offy manifold, my solution to the same shroud interference problem, was to fabricate an offset fan mount.

Not sure where you are located, but this has been on Craigslist for some time. Seems like a decent deal if the carb is indeed rebuilt.

Now that's funny, how much do you wanna bet that it's 'oldskool' that has it up for sale?

I thought those pics looked familiar!!.... I wonder if one or the other used the others pics??
I’m not saying there’s any connection but on the HAMB there’s someone by that name selling stuff. I inquired about an item and he is in one state and the stuff is in a different state at a relatives house. I said thanks, I’ll keep looking!! Again , not saying there’s any connection between any of them..... Mark
