Default 1939 Ford 4 Door Convertible

I am looking for the inside windshield trim for my 1939 Ford 4 Door convertible. I was told that the Woody trim would work. Any help appreciated.

Thanks Dick

G.M. is correct, they share the same cowl and windshield.

40-47 pick up ones can be modified to use also.

The 40-47 PU ones have an entirely different defroster louver. The 39 style that you need has a single and quite large defroster "louver" whereas the 40-47 PU is a longer 'slit' style. To convert the PU (or 40 sedan, same thing) you have to chop for height, change the corner radius's and relocate the counter-sink screw holes. It's a lot of work but it has been done. I have also built the center garnish from scratch, not too difficult. Good luck.

Hard piece to find, I suspect you will pay about $150 for each if you find them

Robert (RPM) is 100% correct. If you have NO garnish moldings you may want to consider fiberglass. I have seen them and they are "okay". Correct in size and shape, the only thing that would prevent me from using them is I insist on all authentic parts within my projects.
If "all authentic' is not your highest priority, I suggest you at minimum check in to them.
Original pieces in half way decent shape will cost you a lot more than $150 (each piece) IF you can even find them.
