Faltheadfan, you know what Mark Twain said about statistics: There's lies, damn lies, then there's statistics.

Whatever you'd like the numbers to show, a fair to middlin' statistician can produce the calculations to prove your point.

Three rules to growing old.

1) Never pass a bathroom

2) Never waste a woody.

3) Never trust a fart.

I'm 58 in March ( i can still trust a fart.)

I spend all my time in the Model A forum but saw this thread and figured I'd post over here. 34 years young here and restoring my granddad's 31 coupe. Its been a long process but a fun and rewarding journey. Chassis is all done and now I'm diving into the paint and bodywork stage.

If as you say, you truly respect your elders, take this advice to heart:
Rid yourself of that Brand X before it kills your passion for real automobiles.

Heading for 73 next Nov. , but after working 6-7 hrs on my latest V12 Lincoln; I
need the next day to recuperate. I'am a late starter, compared to some of you other
guys. I got into the hobby Dec. 1966 Larry

Will be 79 in June. Still have 3 "project" Fords to restore, and 3 finished. I stay young by vintage racing a English Clubman car.

I am about to turn 72 in exactly 2 weeks. ST. pat's day. I'm not Irish, but I have a good reason to celebrate the day anyway.
