Default Up date on the wheel bearings.

I promised that I would update when I got home. Here I am, home safely and the car performed marvelously, with the exception of the last couple of hundred yards. 721 miles and no problems at all, wave adios to my friends and take the off ramp. oops no brakes, no problem caught it in time and the gears and emergency brought us gently to the block above my house. There I noticed zero oil pressure. Turned off the engine and rolled into my garage. Full of oil, right front tire is drenched in brake fluid. Pulled the oil filter and cranked the engine over with the starter, no oil issues forth. Tried priming the oil pump to no avail. So now I will call the builder and have a serious chat. Total miles on this "touring" engine is now about 1350 miles, give or take a few. But the bearings on the two front wheels both spin wonderfully. Jacked it up where I parked and spun the left front just as it had been driven. ii5 revs until it stopped, the right, though covered with brake fluid, made 75 before it quit. Still no in and out play and the bearings were very cool and covered in grease.

Best of luck with the engine.

Not so good. Had a hydraulic line come loose on the huckster. that fluid is rough on paint. Sounds like a serious engine issue also.

Engines in the back of the truck, it's on its way to Oakdale tomorrow. Will be ordering some new brake cylinders, even the master. Going to replace them all.
