Default 1936 oil pressure sending unit

I read an old post in the V8 club that the 1948 willys jeepster had a 50lb
Oil sending unit that could be used on the 1936. It is a little larger in appearance but will work. Has anybody heard of this or tried it out?

Hopefully link works. Has been discussed in the past. Use the “search”. Mike
