Default What does “OP” mean?

I’ve seen “OP” referenced in several posts, but I don’t know what it means. Can someone define it for me?

Thanks

It often means "Original Poster" when used in a forum like this.

It could mean other things.

I just noticed. Tapatalk labels the “Original Poster” in a thread with a green “OP” icon. I never noticed that before.
