Hi Everyone, Playing with the EFV-8 website today, I found a feature in the membership area where you can search their records for members who've volunteered that they own a particular model. If a person wanted they could find how many of any particular year/model is listed. For example I found there are twenty 1936 Club Cabriolets that come up with their search.

This is a different area than their forums. You may need your membership number to get in.

Congratulations! I have always wanted a '36 Convertible sedan or phaeton and it looks like you found what probably is the last one out there. It appears to be very solid from what I can see, and looks to be someone's "stalled-out" project. Good luck with it.

I managed to pickup up a 36 US bodied roadster project over here in Australia, the previous owner dragged it out of a wrecking yard 10 years prior and stored it.
It may have been an old rod once upon a time given some of the old school mods done.

I'd just love to find a stalled-out 36 Roadster project - even basket case is cool with me. I'd have to tear it down to the frame anyway - and go through everything.

It is my favorite car after the 34 roadster - has been on my "must own" list for a long time. My challenge is that I don't really want a finished car that somebody else built - takes the fun out of it for me. A very complete original - that is a different story.

This thread gives me hope to someday find one . . . if anybody knows of one that might be available to a good and long-lasting home . . . please put me in contact with the person.

One of them is mine. It is presently having the top and interior installed. All original car, except for juice brakes, and is painted Washington Blue. I know of 1 more that Jim was not aware of.

This car popped up here in Fairbanks a couple years ago. Was bought and taken to anchorage. IMG_6987
I don’t think that worked.

They are started to surface. My buddy just bought a '36 roadster that had an amateur restoration. It was literally 2 miles from his house the whole time and he never knew it until he got a lead on it.

I know of a 36 roadster rear section in Brazil and a complete 36 cabriolet there too...
