I enjoy reading all these posts. I think many people like the old cars as drivers, and some like to restore them to original.. The important thing os to keep them running so others can see just what these old cars were like. In my case I replace most of the drive train, because I can't afford to repair it. The cost of repairing the axles , transmissions and brakes, when you can replace them with modern ones for less money. Makes the car mor e reliable.

My problem waz the original axles and transmissions were always breaking. And those 15 doller transmissions were getting harder to find. Then there was all those broken axles and the grief you went through just to Change them. Yes I was an old s hot rodder with too much horse power.

Your knowledge and others on this site does more to keep these cars on the road than anything, my new ford that I bought in February needing a ton of TLC is now back on the road due in large part to Ford Barn and you guys.
Thank you to all!

I really like your car, but I think you mounted the tires inside out.

Yeah, the tire companies made those letters white for a reason! Why hide them by mounting the tires backwards??!

tires are like feet. They should be on the ground, not in your face.
