Post Re: Distributor fittings

The fitting(s) should be 3/8" - 24

This is a 56 DUAL DIAPHRAGM LOAD-O-MATIC?

I believe they are two different sizes. The inner diaphragm for the line from the front of the carb should be 3/8-24. Not sure about the outer one for manifold vacuum. I think it's for an inverted flare fitting (size ?).

Will you be re-using the original '56 4bbl carburetor?
Should I assume you need replacements for missing or damaged metal vacuum lines???

You can contact any of the several T-Bird restoration parts suppliers, their catalogs can be very helpful.
They have reproduction replacements and some may have good used oem parts if you prefer.
It is often more effective to contact their parts departments in person on the phone.

I didn't see your reply ...

The secondary line is 1/4" -8 pipe thread.

The actual lines are available repro.

Sorry About That ...
