Default I need electrical help

I am re-wiring the dash lights in my 49 ford. I'm at a standstill because of this tiny brass end. How do I find these brass ends or re-use them? I tried to solder them on, but no success. Does anyone please have a solution for me?

I reuse those brass ends by cutting them off even with the brass end and then drill out the solder with a 1/16 in drill. Then resolder to new wire. Takes a little patience but, it works. I suppose those ends are available some where.

I have not used them, but Road Island Wire sells a similar product.

I do same as 19Forty. Hold with pliers to drill and re-solder.

Thanks guys for the quick responses! I'm going to try the drill bit trick tomorrow. JSeery, Thanks for the info about Rhode Island wiring. Now I can buy the ones I screw up, if not all of them :-) Rhode Island wiring is an awesome place, it will definitely be put in my bookmarks. I'll be telling more people about that place!

I rewired an entire car using Rhode Island products. All top quality at a good price!

I pay $1 each for the parts from Amazon which provides spring and insulating washer as well as the 4" pigtail. Solder a $0.40 male bullet and good as new.

The size of dash instrument sockets is BA9s.
The next size up is BA15s (single) and BA15d (double) for courtesy lights etc.
