Default 47 ford pickup

I am having trouble closing the hood latch on my pickup. Jim

The piece on the wind deflected just above the radiator, where the latch attaches when close is adjustable. Loosen the 2 bolts and slide the bracket with the roller roller up or down.

If you take off the wind deflector you'll see that there is a serrated bracket holding on the piece with the wheel. If it's not moving, it's stuck. The piece that the wheel is attached to, definitely moves. I installed the hood on my 47 P/u about 2 weeks ago.

Any chance either of you two could post a few pics og your whole latch set up?

Mine (on my '42) is missing, not real sure yet (due to what looks to be added onto make something work) what is correct.
