Is there a seal that goes on the latch side of the doors for 40 ford coupe?
I have seals for top, forward and bottom, but don't know about the latch or rear side

No seals on latch side at all. Just 2 rubber door bumpers.

Where Can I get the publication I see you have taken pictures of?? Looks like a compliation of instillation instructions.

The only “seals” around a 40 coupe is the windlace really. And that’s just for wind and not so much rain. Someone sold a seal for the door hinge side door post (Drake maybe?) I installed on my old 40 coupe. That worked pretty and some put a seal along the top side of the door on the car body side but that was a universal one and not specifically for a 40 Ford.

Really, good windlacing does most of the work .... just my 2cents ....

I'm not so certain I am clearly understanding your response.
Ford did in fact install a seal at the front edge of the door - on the door. They (Ford) also installed a seal on the body at the top of the door opening.

Mr. Sargent. The 352 page catalog shown is the first BIG catalog DRAKE published after he moved to Grants Pass, OR. from Canoga Park, CA. There's no date on it but I think it's from the late 70' to early 80's. No longer in print. It was his best catalog. Perhaps someone has one you could buy.
