Question 36 2dr sedan

does anyone have a picture or know what ford intended the brackets on the trunk lid are for ? I assume there where some sort of lid supports. thanks

On the inside of the lid there are a pair of folding brackets that are there to hold the trunk lid in the open position. Is that what you are referring to?

the brackets are stationary & have 1/4 inch holes in them. I think whatever went in holes are gone
