Default 1953 Country sedan Sunvisor helpppppp

Help guys! My 53 wagon is coming along nicely, but Ive had this sunvisor and no one can tell me what brand it is so I can buy brackets that the car didnt come with when I got it a few months ago. Sadly it was painted by that hack shop maaco, and the roof has a blister and of COURSE they want stand behind it. So ill seal it up and cover it with the visor....

IF only I can find the brackets!!!

I have that style visor on my Courier. There is a bracket in the center that you do not appear to have. The ends are screwed directly to the A pillars.

Any idea of the brand? It does look like the right one, and thanks for the link! Now I need to just find one or get a pic of one and make one!

I'm not sure of the brand. I've been told that it is a Ford dealer installed accessory.

Ford used visors made by Dietrich for their accessory parts in the early 50s. I don't know if that is a Dietrich visor or not. There were other aftermarket accessory manufacturers. The Fulton's are a lot easier to tell but that one is not a Fulton visor.

When Ford finally started manufacturing cars with single piece full windshields, the visor manufacturers had to design a bracket that would attach to the top center just above the windshield. Folks didn't want to drill the roof so the exterior sun visors started to fall out of popularity.
