Weber DGV Carburetor Linkage
Hello guys,
I'm just waiting for my new hopped up 4 banger to arrive. It'll get a Weber 32/36 DGV carburetor. I already have the intake at home and ordered the carb. Unfortunately my intake doesn't have a linkage to connect it to my gas pedal linkage. Is there any shop, that sells a linkage for the Weber carb separately? Didn't find anything so far. Thanks for your help in advance. Best Luke |

Re: Weber DGV Carburetor Linkage
I ordered the Linkage from Bert's in December, but unfortunately haven't gotten any response yet.
Is there any other dealer, who sells the linkage seperately? |

Re: Weber DGV Carburetor Linkage
Try Pierce Manifolds at https://www.piercemanifolds.com/. They make the manifolds for the Model A and sell the Weber carburetor and the linkage. Give them a call or email. They have been very helpful for me in getting the jets right on my Weber.
By the way, I was able to improve the performance of my car by experimenting with different jets, mostly bigger. Pierce also sells the jets and parts for your carburetor. They sell a tuning guide which helped me in understanding how things work.

Re: Weber DGV Carburetor Linkage
Hey. Thanks for the quick help. I’ll give them a call
The engine I’m about to (hopefully) test start in my model a is from a friend of mine. A hot banger, with a lion 6.1:1 head, hot cam, adjustable valves, reads headers and a Weber on it. The thing runs good with a 3.27 and a 17% longer Mitchell transmission. Here in Germany he has a cruising speed of 62 and can go about 77. His jetting is: Main primary: 152 Main secondary: 160 Air correction primary: 145 Air correction secondary: 150 So it doesn’t run too rich or lean in lower and higher rpm’s. I’ll jet it the same in my car and then will play around with getting going little up and down from that one. |

Re: Weber DGV Carburetor Linkage
So, as no one could supply me with a Linkage I built it myself. Will go on the roadtest soon, but so far everything works pretty good.
