Hi Steve, I hope you can make it this year; I'd like to meet you, your wife and your '67 Country Squire. The first week in March is the earliest date in the year that works for us, I'd rather hold the event later but a lot of FordBarn "Snow Birds" go back up north in mid-March. The 2014 event will take place mostly around the Tampa Bay area so, maybe you can stop by on your way home or hope it snows up north and stay for the full three days.

Hey Vic:
Just a thought How about if we ask the wives & or Girls friends what they would like to see or do around Tampa Bay?

We all know that if Moma ain't happy ain't no one happy.

Remember Guys if she's happy the pay off could be great AKA next barn find or next Flathead project >>>>>>>

Vic, I will most likely get down for the '14 Florida Bash. Maybe I can get Hutch to ride down with me. Keep lining up the Babe's, we can pack 'em in the back of the fordor, but don't let Clem know

Bill, there are myriad things to do in Tampa Bay for both the guys and the wives to enjoy, not all automotive related. One of the attractions is the Fantasy of Flight Museum and there are always the beaches, outlet malls, local Flathead garages, etc., plenty of things to do to keep us busy for three days...

John, I’m sure Hutch would enjoy the ride and the event as well, looking forward to seeing you both in the Sunny South.

Vic, We have put the Barner's Bash on our list of must do car events. I will keep checking for details. If it's snowing back home, we will be there for the whole deal! Otherwise, we will start home from the Fort Myers area on Saturday and catch up with you in the Tampa area. Thanks in advance for all your efforts.

Here's an up-date on the scheduling for the 2014 Florida "Barner's Bash".

I've contacted the Fantasy of Flight Museum and tentatively booked Saturday, March 1st for our group. I will be posting additional information about the Museum but for now, the pricing is as follows;

1 adult $29.95 plus $4.00 for the guided tour, total with tour: $33.95 + tax.
We can get a group discount, bringing the individual price down to $21.95 plus $4.00 for the guided tour however, we would have to pay in advance to secure the discounted rate.

Hopefully I will be in touch with John (oldford2) and Jeff (Mr. Moose) to talk about the Sunday BBQ at Fred Howard Park in Tarpon Springs.

Keep checking the forum for additional information.

37coop, if you are going to be in the Tampa Bay area (Zephyrhills) send me a PM, if you'd like to meet some of the Cigar City Flathead guys and see some of our toys. Vic
