Default stabilizer bar bushings.

OK, guys. I need your help again. I need to replace the stabilizer bar bushings on my 57 Country Sedan. However, I cannot seem to find the right ones. My bar is definitely 3/4 of an inch in diameter. The biggest I have seem is 5/8 inch. Who has the 3/4 inch bushings? Has anyone ever used polyurethane bushings in place of the rubber ones?

Energy Suspension has 'em in Polyurethane. They are a handling improvement since they deform less than rubber bushings. If you get 'em be sure to get the special grease for poly bushings otherwise they'll drive you bat shit with the squeaking.

Used the Energy Suspension ones also get the bushings and the end links. Copy the parts numbers down from here and go to your local Pep Boys or Autozone they usually will have them in their local warehouse so you won't pay shipping. (get the bushings you can lube) https://www.energysuspensionparts.co...r-bushings.asp It shows you how to measure for the end links https://www.energysuspensionparts.co...-end-links.asp

Someone on another website posted this video of how to stop the squeaking with poly bushings. For myself, I use the original rubber bushings. They'll outlast me.

The repro parts suppliers never supplied the large rubber bushings for station wagons and Couriers, so you may have to go with poly ones.
