Default Jumping Forums with a 1930 Pick up sort of

I have been on Fordbarn for quite a while with 1932 fords. I recently was enticed to buy a friends 1930 Pickup project.... When I get done, if they ask if I built it... I can say yes. All in pieces but very complete and rust free. No drive train, but I have an extra B motor and Trans that I may install in it. This is probably a 2 - 3 year project so don't expect daily posts...LOL

I am envious as I want a pick up. Congratulations on your new project and have fun with bringing her back to life.

Are most parts interchangeable between a 30 and 31? Like seats?

The seat cushion is different on the late 1931, back rest is the same.

You all will be glad to know I have decided to assemble this thing stock. I figure that is enough of a challenge. I will probably go with the B motor and trans because I have them, but otherwise stock......

It's on my list of things to do. however with work, making meetings can be a problem. Is this an active group or one where people sit around and talk about cars and peoples health?

{You can PM me the answer}

What is the best way to catalog what I have? I have a green book, but is there any source with "exploded" diagrams of a 30 pickup?

Hi Jim and welcome to the Model A side of Fordbarn. I'm just around the corner from you, in Potomac.
