Default Oversize stop light brake clevis pin

Does anyone know if oversize stop light brake clevis pins are sold by anyone like the oversized regular clevis pins? This is the pin used on 28/29 brake pedals that has the deal on the end to hold the link to the brake light switch. I have some slop in the brake pedal hole using a standard clevis pin. I guess I could weld it up and redrill the hole to the proper size, but the pedal is already painted. I haven't seen any oversized pins, but maybe someone sells them.

Wouldnt be too hard for one to make out of a grade 8 bolt and a lathe if you got the right oversize dimension. Got a buddy with a lathe?

Hobby shop and hardware stores have thin wall brass tube that can be used to make a bushing.

I would think about any hardware store would have a pin in a size that can be made to fit. Just drill the clevis to fit.

I don't have a lathe, but Tom's thin wall brass tubing sounds interesting. I will see if I can find one.

Simple solution, buy a new clevis & pin.

That won't fix the brake pedal.

Bob C is correct and sofield is WRONG. If it were that simple, I wouldn't have posted a message. Try to buy a new brake pedal.

I would think that a thin brass bushing wouldn’t last very long.

You don't need a lathe to drill out a hole. I don't think you do anyway.

Weld and drill the hole to size, rattle can black is fast and easy to repaint the pedal.
