Default Model A Trunk/Rack ID

Hoping you folks can help me out. I have the trunk and rack that are shown in the attached photos. These items were on my 29 special coupe when I purchased it about 20 years ago. Any idea who manufactured these items, how old they are, and current value?

Thanks - Hunter

The trunk rack is a standard fold in the middle rack with extensions to use it behind a spare tire. $329 to buy a nice reproduction (picture below). If it is original (but it looks awfully nice to be 80 years old) much more.

Hunter,

Just by looking at what you posted, I do not believe that it is an original.

Some key features of the original are the "special" four nuts that are welded to the inside of the frame to accept the bolts to hold the frame to the brackets.

Also the original has a special clip on the underneath side to hold the frame when folded up...the reproduction did not have this...at least on the repro I bought 30 years ago or so.

Unless I am not seeing them, then it must be a repro.

Hopefully someone can post some photos.

I do not know who made it.

Pluck
