Roll Down Rear Window Drip Pan
Hi,
I have a drip pan for what I believe is a 1932 Coupe Roll Down rear Window. I collected it years ago when I thought I would put a roll down rear window in my 1930 Deluxe Coupe. How do I tell the difference between the Model A version of this part and the early V8? One thing I did note is that the three attachment holes per side are evenly spaced at 2-3/8" apart (D-nuts) whereas it looks like the Model A version is unevenly spaced. What would a V8 part be worth? |

Re: Roll Down Rear Window Drip Pan
The width of my drip pan is 27.56" which is wider than the Model A wood frame. The Model A wood frame is 26.12".

Re: Roll Down Rear Window Drip Pan
A photo might help as there were two different pans used in the '32s and different, but similar, pans for '33-'34 coupes. Once installed, they are not readily accessible.

Re: Roll Down Rear Window Drip Pan
Here is a photo of the pan I have. It is laying on the Model A wood I have for a roll down rear window. Note the pan is wider than the edges of the wood frame. Note also that the hole pattern in the wood is not evenly spaced, but that the D-nuts in the drain pan are evenly spaced at 2-3/8".

Re: Roll Down Rear Window Drip Pan
Also, I purchased this pan many years ago with the associated package shelf. I did not locate the package shelf (probably sold it over the years). But I recall the vendor that I bought both of these parts from referred to them as 1932 parts, not Model A.
