33/34 Garwood Fender skirts
Need help on how the top of the skirt fastens to the fender.

Does it just grab the inside top edge of the fender bead? It doesn't seem very secure.
If so it would seem that it would jiggle loose when the car goes over bumps. |

The horizontal rod at the bottom of the skirt, when pushed up, brings the curved part at the top down into the fender bead. The rod is usually secured by a "lip" on the bottom edge of the skirt. Also, the tabs on the edge of the skirt in the front and back, rest against the finder lip. Some have additional brackets that are screwed into the fender lip on the bottom.
