Default 29 tudor cowl lights wiring routing

Does anyone have any pictures of the wire routing for the cowl lights on a 29 Tudor???

I have pictures of the wires before I disassembled the car, but I don't think they are correct--see pix.

I think but could be wrong beings it is a Tudor they might have been routed from the pigtail of the light harness along next to the generator wire through the junction box and then to each of the cowl lights. I doubt they went through the floor next to the floor board but possible as there is a gap in the upper corner of the floor board in that location that will allow several wires to pass through. Attention to the routing in that location should be made so the wire doesn't get pulled from the clutch pedal.

Page 329 of the Service Bulletins shows the installation.

The wire going from one side to the other is in a small cloth type conduit . Some of the parts suppliers carry it .

You need a COWL LIGHT CROSS OVER WIRE... 1 end connect to the extension from the light harness..."crosses over" to the other wire on the passenger side and that is all there is to it.. It does get supported with eyelets

Mark, what is the routing from the extension of the light harness? Does it enter into the body through the junction box? That extension on my harness is only about a foot long.

Thanks Bob,

I looked at that page and it is for adding cowl lights at the dealership. I am looking for a wire routing for cowl lights that were installed at the factory (if there was such a thing?)

The car that I am working on has cowl lights but I have no idea if the car came from the factory that way or if sometime in its life they were installed later. Someone a while back said that the cowl lights on this car are not correct-see pix

I though the only 1929's that came with cowl light from the factory were Town Cars,
Town Sedans and Cabriolets.

This car has the inside brace and the holes in the cowl looks like factory (or maybe it was done by a professional?)

But I guess they could have been done by a dealership.
