Default easier way to polish nickel headlamps/shell

has anyone got a quicker way than using hand cloths? I see in the Griot catalog various polishing outfits and while I realize he is high-priced, still, it seems he has tools that are hard to find elsewhere.

but I'll listen to any ideas....

I didn't see anything on that site specific to metal polishing. Brasso should work just fine on nickel to remove tarnish, coat of car wax to slow down oxidation. If the plating is worn off the steel, replating isn't difficult or expensive - google it.

Just to be sure - the only nickel plated buckets are the 1929 Twolites, 30-31 are stainless.

Never Dull works well also. You can do both headlights in about 2 min.

You have to be careful polishing nickel as it is softer than chrome.
Too much polishing removes material
I use wenol on chrome and whatever little nickel I run into
I'm almost all 30-31

All 28/29 buckets are nickel plated for cars. Does not matter if one or two bulb.

If your Nickel plating is just dull and you have a plater near you, if he will work with you $$ wise, he can put the pieces on his big wheel and make it look good again..Not like just done, but very nice..

I strongly recommend it.
