I've been into old cars my whole life but only gotten really into model A's maybe summer 2007. Took about 3-4 years off of it due to going away to college then graduating and getting a 3rd shift 6 day a week job. It amazes me how fast parts accumulate! I now understand how the "well seasoned" veterans of this hobby have barnyards full of parts.

1961, a '30 Tudor with all the original equipment (incl. keys). Straight as a die and solid. good upholstery. $200 in lawn mowing money and it was in my driveway.

In 1974 when I was 14, bought an old chassis for 275. Made a pu out of it.
Built maple doors for it in woodshop and found the bed in 77 at the first Englishtown meet.
Put that bed in the back of Dads Duster, rear and wheels, as I bought it as an old trailer.
I was pretty damn proud the day I brought that bed home and mounted it on the chassis. 75. as I recall...............

still building junk today- but today it is called rat.................!

Spring of 57 or 58, a 29 sport coupe for 100$, followed by a 29 roadster........75$ with a rebuilt engine by J.S. Inskip, NY, NY. Then 2 32 5W coupes to make one, hot rodded it, 55 Chev 6cyl,57 Nomad, 61 Vette, Kept the 32 while in the service (USN 65-69), 56 Nomad, 60 Impala, 32 4 dr model B, 40 coupe with an Olds. Sold the 32 and 40 when I got married in 72. Picked up my avatar abot 7 years ago after looking at about a dozen in 3-4 weeks. Getting itchy for either a V8 or hot rod, will be "testing" the waters in the spring.

I bought my first Model A , a 31 coupe in 1957. I soon traded it for something more powerful I sold it a few years later, and bought my second, an unrestored 28 tudor, that I restored to show condition. Since then I've restored and shown 6 more Model As that I still have.
