Default Did ford offer 4wd in 1954 trucks?

im interested ina 54 f250 and just wonder if it was available stock.

Here in the mid west, Marmon-Herington and Napco were popular.

Yes, those are the only ones I'm familiar with from that era. I think Dodge, and of course Jeep, were the only one building their 4X4's. Maybe International too?

The most common Ford 4x4's prior to the 1959 model year were Marmon-Herington.. GM favored the Napco conversions.
The 1959 and later Ford 4x's were well thought out units, the chassis (frame) were a little light up through '64, being the same as the common F100-F250.
