Aluminum does transfer heat more quickly than iron, but the amount of heat generated does not change, so does not affect engine temp. More compression does make the engine more efficient, so more power and less fuel used, but that can vary depending amount of throttle being used. Iron does last longer but aluminum is easier to repair if needed.
