"Clutching" at straws!
Sorry for cheap pun. A friend shipped me his recently completed '31 S/W sedan. He asked me to go over the car and deal with anything I found. He mentioned specifically that there is some problem with the clutch. I found that the clutch wouldn't fully engage no matter what adjustment I attempted and there seemed to be a lot of vibration. I pulled up the carpet and removed the clutch housing inspection cover. I found that the clutch release bearing/hub had been installed backwards!

Re: "Clutching" at straws!
It maybe a good idea to take the complete car apart, who knows what else is wrong, some people should have there tools taken away.

Another case of half assed backyard mechanics that don't know sheep shit from licorice balls. They think they are masters of everything when really they are fools with a wrench in their hands, Wayne.

Holly cow........now that's one I couldn't have imagined.
Check the fingers height and make sure they are all even at 11/16" while it's apart. |

Wow, If I hadn't seen it, I wouldn't have believed it. That is one very talented restorer.

Re: "Clutching" at straws!
How stupid. They are lucky they didn't ruin the clutch when they tried to start it.
