Default 36 speedometer cable

what type of clips are used on the inside of the firewall for the speedometer cable? and what is the proper routing of the cable?

I have ordered the 35/6 book from the V8 club but don't have it yet. bear with me.

thanks

There is a clip high on the inside of the cowl, it screws into the d nut that you can see on the driver's side of the cowl.
I dont have a picture, but Don Rogers will probably produce one for you.
There is also a rubber grommet down at the bottom of the cowl near the floor board.
