Gary,

I just got a chance to get on the computer and was glad to see your question. I need to know that also! Mikes reply sounds good and I'm gonna go with .002. I just got NOS pistons (.030 over) and it seems that they average pretty consistently about 2.628. I honed the block out to about 2.625 and have been waiting to find out whether to go to an even 2.630. It is normal practice, I believe, to put the bore right on the money, and get the clearance from the slightly undersize pistons. Check your piston size, three of mine are out of round by as much as about .008. I'm going to squeeze 'em slightly to fix this. How 'bout leaving a post about this size business and in general how you made out.
