Default Verticle Bar on Grill Shell

This truck is supposedly a 1930 and it is on ebay. Is the verticle bar in the center of the grill shell common on Model A's?

Accessory manufacturers offer many many gadgets to make your car "yours" and to make it unique. This has probably been true throughout automotive history. If you look through the Unauthorized Accessories book, you'll see radiator screens, hub cap add-ons ... etc. Go into your local auto parts store and you'll see the same concept. Bigger wheels, tail light covers, you name it. We haven't lost our need to be an individual. There was a Model A here in Mansfield that had one of those radiator "bars" on it and you always knew whose car it was.
