I nearly "choked on my wheaties" when I read this as I had never heard of these things in the grass but Wikipedia informs me they are some sort of biting mite ( I'd heard of the street slang for a "gangsta wannabe" of Oriental extraction).....whew!

If you get bit by them, you will itch yourself crazy. The only cure i know is put fingernail polish on the bites.

Merry Christmas! You just made me miss my 40 Ford PU, I enjoyed driving it from 1990 till 2009 then sold it to complete the restoration of my 36 Ford Cabriolet.

My Xmas. present this year came out of the blue when Hemmings Classic Car featured my resto. story in their January issue. They saw it at a Car Show 2 years ago and called me in October. The cool thing is that it can happen to anyone of us!
