Default Model A Steering Gear/Column Weirdness and Question

This past spring, I gathered up the remaining parts dad had stashed in Florida, and brought them back up here to WV. One item is what looks to be a new steering gear/column. I'm not familiar with these, and when I was pulling it from the rafters and lowering it down to the floor, under it's weight (and me swinging it around) the black column pulled part way out of the red primer casting. It didn't want to slide right back in, so I didn't force it... until I could ask you guys about it. (you can see it in the pics) I'll eventually be selling it. Can you guys help me with what I have, and am dealing with here? I'm limited in my 'A' knowledge. Thanks!

Mike Jr. here. I get on here every few months to check messages, and look through his almost 500 saved messages for information on the '29 and '34 I still have. A lot of very nice people on here. He truly enjoyed Ford Barn.

Hey Mike Jr. Basically it appears to be a 1929 Gemmer 2-tooth steering gearbox and column. It is missing the internals and the Sector Housing Probably has a value in the $50 range.

Your Dad was respected and is missed here.
