Default Hard To Find Hood Ornament

So what is one of the most hard to find hood ornaments? In the 15 years i’ve owned my 41 Tudor I finally was able to pick up a hood ornament made for the 41 Super Deluxe and I believe the 41 Mercury. What would you all consider a rare hood ornament for your car?

1948 Ford hood ornament on my car. Same as the 46 but without the red enamel 8 insert.
Stock to my NZ assembled Ford and different to the US ones. Photo to come.

The third one looks like a 38 pickup

Were they all ford accessories or aftermarket?

The third one is "similar" to the one my dad has, the front portion is flatter, stubby and not rounded off also has a swing open cover with a lock underneith, I think he has another one that is the similar wing shaped but different than the one in the picture and the one I described above. I believe most are aftermarkets!!!

Another "Unobtainium" is a true "Greyhound" for a 37.

I made up Chrome Goddess radiator cap ornament for our 1932- 3/W Ford V8 basing it on the 8 foot Bob Drake chrome sculpture which was unveiled at the S.E.M.A. Show. in 2008.
1932 Fords did not come out originally with a ornamental radiator cap anyway, only a plain cap, but there are Quail and Greyhound ornamental radiator caps now made for them, so I decided to make a Chrome Goddess a bit different out of Brass.

That’s a beautiful job you did with the “Chrome Goddess” Ian. I know you must get a lot of comments.

Thank you.Yes I get a few comments about my Goddess radiator cap.
Yes that radiator cap is on a English 32 Victoria, it is pretty hard to tell what it is.
Some thought it was a dealer demonstrating a 32 Victoria.
