Default Ahooga Horn

Recently bought a "genuine" Sparton Ahooga horn on eBay. As soon as I took it out of the shipping box, I could see that it was not a Sparton. Removing the mounting bracket reveled "Stewart Warner Electric Company" It works good, but it's not a Sparton that I thought I was buying. Dishonest or just didn't know?

If the Stewart warner is in good condition and the horn has good sound it may be well worth keeping, unless you are dead set on a Sparton.

Contact the seller and let him know it is a Stewart Warner not a Sparton as described. He may be willing to offer a discount.

If you are totally dissatisfied you can open up a case and you will get a full refund.

If you don't have time to do it right the 1st time, how do you have time to do it the 2nd time?

Ask the seller. Also, any chance he was selling 2 horns and mailed you the wrong one?

Remember, the nut that holds on the diaphragm ratchet on a Stewart Warner horn has a LEFT HAND THREAD. All other horn makers used a right hand thread.
