Installing a Wiper Blade
I need help. My wiper motor is installed on my 1930 Model A and I bought a new wiper blade for it because there wasn't any when I got the car. Can someone explain or even show me photos of how to install the wiper blade on the arm. Thanks. Hugh

Check out the video by richpin at https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=-8FR51Vh29o
It's a video of a wiper motor rebuild but around 2min 30 seconds he illustrates putting the blade on the arm. |

Re: Installing a Wiper Blade
Watch the video at the 2:39 to 3:15 and you will see how the blade and the arm is installed to the wiper.

Re: Installing a Wiper Blade
Believe it or not the best advice I found is in the Service bulletins. I have struggled for years and asked folks and most said "it's a bitch" . Just for the heck of it I checked the SB and bingo. It was pretty darn easy.

Re: Installing a Wiper Blade
Do you have the "correct" (gawd I hate that word) wiper blade for the arm? If so it should be pretty straight forward kind of a deal. I have no clue on how to post pics. My wife has to do it for me. Let's see if someone can post a pic or vid.

Re: Installing a Wiper Blade
Copgib,
Look in a Model A parts catalog & see if you have the RIGHT blade, for YOUR wiper arm. Shouldn't be THAT complicated. Bill W.[/B]

Re: Installing a Wiper Blade
I remember doing a 180 degree flip from away to the windshield, and it was very easy.
