Default Tie-rod end

I know there are left handed thread and right handed thread for the tie rod ends. Which one is on the drivers side? Would it be the left handed thread since it's on the left side of the car?

I'm thinking it is the passenger side, but it isn't really important, you just need one left and one right so that the wheels move opposite when you turn the tie rod.
