Default Facebook for Model AA Ford Truck Lovers

For those of you who have a Facebook account and are interested in Model AA Ford Trucks, I just created a Facebook page for AA lovers. Go to your Facebook page and enter Model AA Ford Truck Lovers in the search field and it should open for you. You are welcome to join us even if you don't own a AA but just like 'em or think you might like to own one someday. Big Iron is cool.

Hi Carl:
One advantage of joining the AA group is I finally know what you look like (ha). I've seen your postings on the Ford Barn for three years but once you joined the group I can see your Facebook page and now we know. I see you live in Anchorage - my son and his wife lived in Fairbanks for 3-1/2 years (she was stationed at Eielson Air Base) and they lived in North Pole. Enjoyed visiting them there; beautiful state!

Carl: I've often wished that you could enlarge everyone's avatar to actually see more details - not only the driver but the car! Maybe the administrators could take note!!!

In 18 hours since starting we have had 43 members join the group. Click on this link to see what's happening. Lots of guys are sharing photos of their Big Iron and we have a poll going on to vote for your favorite Model AA body style. It's free so the price is right.

Just a heads-up to let you know you are in good company as a member of our Facebook group. Of our current 149 (and growing) members we have bragging rights to say we have the current editor of The Restorer magazine (Jim Spawn), a former editor of The Restorer magazine (me - 12 years), the editor of the Double A'er, publication of the Ford Model AA Truck Club (Neil Wilson), editor/publisher of Model A Times magazine (John Lavoy) and Jim Schild just joined us last night. Jim is the publisher of The Auto Review and is the author of several books in the Collector’s Originality Guide series, including Challenger and Barracuda 1970–1974, Chevrolet Camaro 1970–1981, and Ford Model A. Jim also wrote the book "AA Truck Supplement to Restorers Model A Shop Manual" so you're in good company here and between this "brain trust" we should be able to come up with some accurate info on AA's.

Check it out - the price is right (free)!

It's been a while since we updated those of you who don't belong to the Model AA Ford Truck Lovers group on Facebook. Currently we have 1,860 members and over 4,000 photos of AA's posted. You don't have to own a Model AA Ford - just like them. We frequently list AA's for sale so you get access to what's available nationwide. You should join us! It's free so the price is right!
